  2. buy a Society bottle, valued at a minimum price of $180, from ARC liquor store on Harvey and get your first year of membership included.
    3. Our Arc liquor store is a partner retail store recognised by the SMWS.

Who We Are:
  • Since we were formed in 1983, we've believed in doing things differently. As unconventional whisky experts we seek out whisky in its purest form, prize flavour above everything else and give each bottling a curious name. We're united and constant in our passion to share the world's best whiskies, to bring them to life and to make you proud to belong to the world's most colourful whisky club.

  • "The people who said it coild'nt be done were so dull" - Pip Hills, Society Founder. Our Society grew out of a few individuals' irrespressible spirit of discovery of the unique character of a single malt whisky cask which still drives us today.

    What We Do:
  • The exploration of flavour and sharing our discoveries is what we're all about. Our members enjoy exclusive access to whiskies (and other spirits like gin, rum and Armagnac) hand-picked by our expert Tasting Panel, from over 150 distilleries in Scotland and beyond. We bottle them at cask strength and offer a constant variety. How you enjoy them is entirely up to you.

  • New botltings are released at the beginning of every month in our "Outturn," the Society's bottling list and members can purchase through one of the exclusive retail stores.

  • The Canadian branch releases 7 new and different bottlings every month so there's a huge variety to suit every palate and our retail partner stores have monthly tasting events of the new releases, so you can try before you buy!

  • For every new member who signs up on your recommendation, or for every membership you purchase as a gift, you'll receive $20 off the cost of theannual $115 renewal fee, so round up enough friends and renew for free!

  • With access to braches in 27 countries & over 100 partner bars around the world you'll never be far from a Society bottle when travelling. The branches don't all carry the same bottles so you can come home with something unique other Canadian members won't have (prepare to be popular!)
